Russian Names and Surnames

I noticed his father's name was Dimitri Ruskov. Yet virtually every page I found on this WW I general uses the former instead of the latter. Does the sequence matter at all?

Should I assume his surname was Ruskov and отчество Dimitriev regardless of where each of these are written? Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Fauvhan,

The name is always Radko and the surname. Ruskov seems to be the surname and Dimitriev, the patronymic. Anyway, it is not Russian, it is Bulgarian, they have a different tradition of names, surnames and patronymics.
